Dr Musharraf Hussain, Freeman of Rochdale, is honoured as the first Patron of Pink Chai CIC. A highly respected community figure, he dedicated many years as a General Practitioner, supporting individuals and families through some of the most difficult moments of their lives with compassion and care. In recent years, he has transitioned into life coaching and mentoring, where he now focuses on helping people develop clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of purpose. As a Director of Pink Chai CIC, Dr Hussain plays a key role in shaping culturally sensitive health initiatives, particularly in promoting women’s health and breast cancer awareness within diverse communities. His work continues to bridge healthcare, personal development, and community empowerment. He was awarded the prestigious title of Freeman of Rochdale—becoming the first British-Bangladeshi to receive this honour—in recognition of his outstanding contribution to healthcare and community wellbeing.
