Pink Chai CIC was honoured to be invited to attend and speak at the Women’s Pink Chai Morning organised by SHE Talks CIC, led by Nazma Hassan, in Manchester.

The event was well attended and brought women together in a warm, welcoming environment to learn more about breast cancer awareness. Dr Jumaina Ali delivered an informative and engaging presentation, covering the importance of early detection, breast self-awareness, and accessing screening services.

Guests enjoyed plenty of pink chai, biscuits, and received a thoughtful goody bag, creating a relaxed setting where important conversations could take place. The session encouraged many women to ask questions, share their experiences, and seek further advice about breast health.

One of the most encouraging outcomes of the event was the enthusiasm from attendees, with several women expressing a desire for the Pink Chai campaign to be delivered in other parts of the country so that more communities can benefit from these vital awareness sessions.
