Pink Chai CIC was proud to attend the Bangla New Year (Boishakhi) Festival at Scowcroft Park, Manchester, organised by 1 Chattogram. The vibrant celebration attracted several thousand visitors, providing a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of our breast cancer awareness campaign within the community.

Our information stall welcomed a steady stream of visitors throughout the day. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and Board Members, hundreds of conversations took place about the importance of breast cancer awareness, early detection, and encouraging women to access screening and support services.

Many people signed up to receive further information about Pink Chai CIC, our campaigns, volunteering opportunities, and upcoming community events. It was encouraging to see such a positive response from people of all ages who wanted to learn more and support our mission.

The Boishakhi Mela also proved to be an invaluable learning experience for our team. Engaging directly with the community helped us better understand people’s questions, concerns, and ideas, enabling us to strengthen our future outreach and make our campaign even more accessible.

Together, we are serving hope, one cup at a time.
