We were delighted to officially launch the Pink Chai CIC Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign 2026, bringing together healthcare professionals, community leaders, survivors and supporters united by one purpose: to save lives through awareness, education and early detection.

Our inspiring panel included Dr Tasleema Begum, Dr Jumaina Ali, Dr Sumaya, breast cancer survivor Tahera Khanom, and Pink Chai CIC Ambassador Ashah Nadeem. The event was formally opened by Dr Musharraf Hussain, Chairman, followed by a presentation from Muzahid Khan MBE DL, who shared the story behind Pink Chai CIC and outlined this year’s campaign, encouraging organisations, communities and individuals across the UK to host a Pink Chai Day this October.

The event was filled with hope, energy and determination. It also highlighted a sobering reality: too many women are still missing their breast screening appointments, while fear, stigma and misinformation continue to prevent life-saving conversations and early diagnosis.

This October, we invite everyone to play their part. Gather friends, colleagues, neighbours or your community over a cup of pink chai, start the conversation, and help us reach more women with vital breast cancer awareness.

Together, let’s break the stigma. Together, let’s save lives.
