Pink Chai CIC is delighted to announce that our Pink Chai Day Campaign 2025 in West Sussex has been recognised with an award presented by the High Sheriff of West Sussex, Dr Tim Fooks.
The award was received by Henna Chowdhury, Founder of the Pink Chai concept, in recognition of the campaign’s outstanding contribution to raising breast cancer awareness and bringing communities together through conversation, education, and support.

Speaking after the presentation, Henna Chowdhury said:
“Receiving this award was a wonderful and unexpected surprise. While I am honoured to accept it, this recognition truly belongs to everyone who has contributed to the Pink Chai campaign. From our volunteers and ambassadors to our partners, supporters and community hosts, this has been a genuine team effort. It has been incredibly inspiring to see the campaign grow and touch the lives of so many people.”
The recognition reflects the dedication of everyone involved in delivering Pink Chai Day across West Sussex and beyond, helping to encourage early detection, reduce stigma, and promote life-saving conversations about breast cancer.
As we look ahead, Pink Chai CIC is excited to build on this success, expand our reach into more communities, and inspire even more people to host Pink Chai events and become champions for breast cancer awareness.
Together, we are serving hope, one cup at a time.
